He brings a sharp focus on client service and relationships. Outside of work Mike enjoys football, golf, Scottish contemporary art and cars – currently applying some TLC to a ’91 Alfa Spider.



Sean Nicol



Sean Nicol
Sean has worked in the property industry for over 10 years, having graduated with an honours degree in Property Development & Valuation from Edinburgh Napier University. With experience in on and off-market transactions, his main focus is to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients. Outside of work Sean enjoys football, painting, spending time with his family and the challenges that come with having a Goldendoodle, who is the size of a small horse.

Wilson Browne



Wilson Browne
Wilson is passionate about achieving outstanding customer service and delivering high quality tailored advice to his clients. He works with a wide range of clients and is experienced in all aspects of residential conveyancing including purchases, sales, mortgage and remortgage work, transfers of title, and shared equity arrangements. Outside of work Wilson enjoys his other job as the family taxi driver, trying to keep fit and when he gets time, reading military history and watching the occasional game of rugby. He can also often be found chuckling at Mock the Week to de-stress!



Alastair Shepherd



Alastair Shepherd
Alastair has over 30 years experience as a qualified solicitor and has held a number of senior positions within the Scottish legal sector. Specialising in rural property work, Alastair is also a Writer to Her Majesty’s Signet and a Notary Public. Alastair is an author who has written books on war memorials and he enjoys spending time with his family and dog.



Lynne Scott



Lynne Scott
Lynne is an experienced finance manager and has worked with numerous leading legal firms in senior positions over the past 20 years. Lynne is playing a leading role in upgrading new practice management and payroll systems at Coulters. Outside of the office, Lynne is a treasurer and volunteer at the Edinburgh Arts Collective charity and finds her weekly yoga a must.



Ross MacKay



Ross MacKay
Ross is recognised as one of Scotland’s leading property solicitors and is the principal author of the Scottish Standard Clauses, now used nationally in the formation of contracts for the sale and purchase of residential property. Ross is a regular speaker at law seminars and has also chaired various Law Society of Scotland groups dealing with property law issues. With his free time, Ross enjoys long coastal walks with the family dog, a good book and the cinema.



Louise Williams



Louise Williams
Louise has built up a loyal client following throughout her legal career and gained a first class reputation as an expert in residential property with extensive knowledge of the Edinburgh market. Louise aims to leave a lasting impression with clients and prides herself on her client care. Listening to Radio 4 is Louise’s guilty pleasure and sea food is a personal favourite, both cooking and eating.



Tom Edwards



Tom Edwards
Tom left London and a successful career in financial technology in 2016 to return to Edinburgh and focus on a passion for property. Building lasting relationships with clients and exceeding their expectations is a highlight of the job for Tom, who enjoys walks around Edinburgh and the surrounding countryside with his family and dog.



Sarah Fisher



Sarah Fisher
Sarah is our Marketing and Design Manager here at Coulters, joining us in December 2019. Previously working in a variety of roles across the creative industry she has joined the Coulters team to drive our online presence and engage with our existing and new clients. Sarah loves the outdoors and can be found hiking or running up hills when not behind her laptop.



Emma Robertson



Emma Robertson
Emma joined Coulters as part of the merger with Morton Fraser’s residential property team. Emma has a broad range of knowledge and experience covering sales, purchases and transfers of titles. Providing expert support to the legal Partners, Emma also loves to carry out research. Outside of the office, dancing is Emma’s main passion and she teaches Highland to youngsters.



Rhona Wilson



Rhona Wilson
Rhona joined Coulters as a Legal Administrator in 2016, bringing 20 years of experience in the property and legal sector to the business. Rhona is a highly organised and reliable member of the team, supporting the legal Partners in delivering industry leading service. With two younger sons to keep family life busy, Rhona particularly enjoys swimming and walking with the whole family.



Kat MacDonald



Kat MacDonald
Kat specialises in all aspects of residential property and has gained experience of high value and complex transactions working for a mixture of corporate and residential clients throughout her career. Kat prides herself on building positive client relationships and meeting the individual needs of each client. Kat enjoys spending time with her young daughter and visiting art galleries in her spare time.



Denise McKenzie



Denise McKenzie
Denise brings a wealth of experience previously working for both family run Solicitors and Estate Agents to corporate industry leaders. Denise is motivated by delivering excellent service and achieving a great result for the client, be it the best sale price or securing a home for a lower cost than expected. Denise enjoys the outdoors and especially running. She owns a working cocker spaniel, a registered Therapet who visits local hospitals.



Elaine Anderson



Elaine Anderson
Elaine joined Coulters in 2018 and brings over 20 years experience to the team. Calm, collected and extremely dedicated, Elaine’s skills compliment Coulters, enabling her to build lasting relationships. Exploring Edinburgh on foot is a passion of Elaine’s, who is also an avid bookworm and enjoys spending time with friends over good food and wine.



Ailsa McCreath



Ailsa McCreath
Ailsa has worked in various legal firms in Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders as well as in-house with Marie Curie. Her can-do attitude and work ethic make her an asset to the team. Alisa also takes part in various fundraising activities for the Debra Ann School of Dancing where her youngest daughter dances.



Sophie Duns



Sophie Duns
A North Berwick native, Sophie has been instrumental in setting up Coulters’ East Lothian office. Sophie has a passion for working with people and prides herself in offering customer service to the highest standard whether carrying out appraisals or advising clients on the best marketing strategy to achieve optimum results. Sophie keeps active with circuit training, running and walks with her dog Nala.

Sam has an exceptional background with high profile law firms and brings over 20 years experience as a skilled legal cashier to Coulters. Sam works across all areas of finance to ensure the needs of clients, partners and staff are met. Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and holidays.
